Refund & Return Policy

At Laxmi Bakes, we take great care to ensure that every product is freshly baked, hygienically packed, and delivered in excellent condition. Due to the perishable nature of our bakery products, we have a limited return and refund policy.
Returns
As our products are food items and perishable, we do not accept returns once an order has been delivered.
Returns will only be considered if:
- You receive a damaged or defective product.
- You receive the wrong product.
- The product is expired at the time of delivery.
- The package is tampered with before delivery.
To request assistance, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be approved only in the following cases:
- Incorrect product delivered.
- Product damaged during transit.
- Product missing from the order.
- Order cancelled by Laxmi Bakes.
- Order could not be delivered due to our operational issue.
Refund requests submitted after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.
Proof Required
To process your request, please provide:
- Order ID
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging
- A brief description of the issue
Without sufficient proof, refund requests may be declined.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Opened food products
- Products consumed partially or fully
- Products damaged after delivery
- Change of taste or personal preference
- Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer
- Orders returned due to customer unavailability
- Gift boxes after delivery
- Festival packs after delivery
If your refund request is approved:
Refund Process
- The refund will be processed to the original payment method.
- Refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days after approval.
- The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled only before they are dispatched.
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
For cancellation requests, please contact our customer support immediately.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges for food products.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, we may:
- Send a replacement product, or
- Issue a refund, depending on the situation.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless:
- The wrong product was delivered.
- The product was damaged during transit.
- The issue was caused by Laxmi Bakes.
